Other reasons might be poorly compacted materials, displacement of water bar within construction joints, ground movement or settlement. Leaking crack injection is an effective method in the creation of a dry environment.
Leaking cracks can be sealed using polyurethane resin-based foams or grouts that are very fast acting on contact with moisture and can halt the flow of water quickly.
